I never uploaded these, so here goes!

Paper cutout illustration done for my Concept, Technique and Illustration class for Fall semester.

This took forever to do, but really love the outcome, and probably might do more of these, perhaps for my children’s book illustration class whichI’ll be taking later.

The original is pretty much destroyed though =( Glad I got good photographs of it!

Ive put this off for far too long. Gotta finish it tonight!

Saw Matt Costa in concert this weekend! And it was AMAZING!
(He’s so much skinnier than I expected him to be).
This was the first time I actually went to a show WITHOUT a camera (I forgot actually) and was forced to take photos with my crappy i-phone 4 camera (if only it could have at least been a 4S, the quality would be better). Half the time at the show, I was beating myself over it, because the lighting was great, was an intimate show so was up extremely close and could have gotten some amazing shots.
Oh well, at least I had an awesome time with the Bubs! Also Matt Costa got the crowd to sing along to part of ‘Miss Magnolia’. No one sang out loud (there were a few kind of singing under their breath, haha), so II did, and he goes ‘THAT’S RIGHT!’. I FEEL SO COOL! Hur hur hur. I would post up the video that I took where you can hear all this, BUT my voice sounds like a duck :3
I also loved the other two bands that performed; Sam Outlaw and Carly Ritter. While I was the merch table buying a tee, Carly Ritter tripped over my leg (I have no idea how, cos I’m super short and she was tall, and I don’t know how her legs tripped over mine, cos i was just standing there, my leg not even extended out). Haha, it was pretty funny.

I scanned in this week’s etching, and coloured and messed around with it on photoshop. I think it turned out great! =)

Etches from the past few weeks. I’ve been doing tiny plates just for practice and getting the hang of scratching, etching it, printing etc.

Erland Øye, from Kings of Convenience.
First assignment for situation and environment class. Oils on 12”X16” canvas. Scanned this in, thus the shiny reflection off the canvas. Will take a photo of it soon.
Painted from reference photo, taken by me at their concert.

Finally took a photo of this. Final project from Fall semester 2012, self portrait for head drawing class.

Used a webcam multiple exposure photo that I took a long time ago as reference.

‘Infinity’, etching on zinc plate.

First class of Etching. Learnt a lot more than I ever did in printing classes in KBU. And our studio is so clean. It’s repulsive thinking about how the KBU studio.

Might make some lighter, second layer of etchings on this piece. Going to enjoy this class so much. Yay.

Quick doodle. Quick scan. Quick colour; was zoomed in on Ps that I didn’t realize I hadn’t coloured the rest of the shirt).
Anyway, I title this one “Andrew Rather Annoyed at Meemee”.
